What is Giving Tuesday?
GivingTuesday
GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good.
Since its inception, this day it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
GivingTuesday is held annually the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and occurs on the same day in most participating countries in the world. Also, with GivingTuesday taking place near the end of the calendar year, it’s an ideal day to launch a year-end fundraising campaign.
